We are Worldwide Cancer Research. We start cures for cancer. And so can you.
We fund visionary, pioneering researchers to develop groundbreaking treatments that will help end cancer.
Our organization
We are a small team, but we have big ambitions. Since 1979 we have been dedicated to funding the brightest researchers to start cancer cures that will save lives now, and for generations to come. With the help of our Curestarters, we have supported £200 million of cancer research around the world.
What we do
Any new lifesaving test or treatment for cancer starts with discovery research. That’s why we only fund pioneering discovery research – from anywhere in the world, into any type of cancer. We back brand new ideas from world-class scientists that could change the course of cancer research – but we can’t do it without you.
We won’t stop until cancer does
