Philanthropy has been a key tenet of the P&G Alumni Network since its inception in 2001. To drive even greater impact, the Network formally established the P&G Alumni Foundation as a 501(c)(3) legal entity in 2013, adding a dedicated Foundation Board and funding a part time Executive Director since 2015. In 2016, the Foundation opened a Donor Advised Fund with the Greater Cincinnati Foundation (GCF) to help administer its growing number of grants across the globe, while leveraging best practices. Through June 2021, the P&G Alumni Foundation has impacted 200,000+ people in need across 40 countries. 100+ grants have been awarded where P&G alumni are actively involved, with an estimated impact of 22,000+ people trained, 17,000+ new jobs, and 6,700+ new business start-ups. Throughout the website, you will find compelling stories showcasing lives changed and our global impact. None of this would be possible without the generosity of our 350+ donors and the amazing talent and commitment of our 200+ alumni volunteers.

Established in 2001, the P&G Alumni Network was formed to help P&G Alums across the globe stay connected. Today, the Network has grown to 25,000+ Alumni strong and is a premier membership organization delivering against three strategic pillars:

  • Engagement facilitates connections and networking through chapter activities, the global conferences and the Women’s Leadership Forum.
  • Enrichment offers additional ways for Alumni to connect regarding thought leadership, best practices, and training & development.
  • Philanthropy affords our Alums to “give back” personally or within their chapters and is also achieved through the P&G Alumni Foundation, the Network’s charitable arm.

The root of the Network’s philanthropy is grounded in shared values which further unite us as Alumni. P&G Alums share a commitment to strong values:  working hard, trying to do the right thing and improving the lives of others through our work and charitable endeavors.

P&G Alums are instilled with a belief that working for a global company is more than just an opportunity and a privilege, but also a responsibility to help those who haven’t been given the same opportunities we have, and a responsibility to economically empower those who have never been empowered.

The P&G Alumni Foundation simply provides a platform for these initiatives.
