Inclusive Beauty
Women and ClimateAt the Fondation L’Oréal, we are convinced that beauty can play a central role in helping vulnerable, underprivileged, or marginalized people to regain their self-esteem, develop confidence and improve their well-being. It can even help people rediscover their place in society.
“Only 12% of people affected by cancer have access to beauty and wellness therapy. This is not enough.”
Alexandra Palt,
Chief of Corporate Responsibility Officer of L’Oréal,
CEO of the Fondation L’Oréal
Women and Climate
Women are on the frontline of the climate crisis, disproportionately affected by extreme weather and natural disasters, yet still underrepresented and disadvantaged in many of the disciplines that will be vital to the global climate transition. Through our partnerships, we aim to empower women to lead climate action and raise awareness of the importance of gender-equal climate solutions.
“In developing countries, women are in charge of 80% of agricultural production, yet they represent less than 2% of agricultural landowners.”
