Company Description

Leveraging the recent research from the World Resources Institute and Aii report Roadmap to Net Zero: Deliverving Science Based Targets in the Apparel Sector and the Unlocking the Trillion-dollar Fashion Decarbonization Opportunity Report, authored by Aii and Fashion for Good, Aii, along with our strategic partners, is building a $250M Fashion Climate Fund (aggregating combined industry and philanthropic sources) to unlock a total of $2B in blended capital towards verified impact solutions, thereby removing up to 150 million tonnes of CO2 from the apparel supply chain.

The fund will be aligned to the “Climate Solutions Portfolio,” which is being built as a transparent registry of all programs and pilots running. Use of funds will be applied to “impact programs” from pre-seed to pilot to scale with the pooled philanthropic and industry corporate treasury funds, while increasing access to blended capital (debt & equity) for the scale phase.
